They just could simply be improved upon. These creatures could have been given more opportunities to shine. Note: This article is subjective and reflects the opinion of the writer.
Someone really had to say something about this. No matter how popular and powerful Entei is, it truly needed little more to become dominating. Compared to other Legendary Fire-type Pokemon , Entei falls a bit by the wayside. There is nothing wrong with its stats or effectiveness in battle. It seems to have been given more of the spotlight than Suicune and Raikou. That spotlight very well may have been wasted.
Entei feels like it should be much more powerful than it is in reality. It's a shame, honestly. Entei and flaireon have no relevant raid match ups to be fair all of them dont, but typhlosion has some gym match ups agaisnt those 2 above, as well as the gengar people love spamming now.
There goes uniqueness. Too bad. Nice thing is that Blast Burn is guaranteed on every evolution during that event - I have 7 Flareon's, but not a single one with overheat and I'm not going to waste a CTM on Flareon when I have other more relevant species that are waiting for a move change, plus wanting to stock up on a few for when Gen 4 evolutions finally come out.
Didn't see it like that. What do you mean by "guaranteed on every evolution during that event"? That's exactly what he meant though? Every Quilava he evolves is guaranteed to get Blast Burn upon evolving to Typhlosion. Evolve an Eevee into a Flareon and it's not guaranteed to get Overheat. Main series incompatibility.
Typhlosion can't learn Fire Spin in the main series otherwise it might have gotten it instead of Ember. Typhlosion obscures itself behind a shimmering heat haze that it creates using its intensely hot flames. It can hide behind a shimmering heat haze that it creates using its intense flames. Typhlosion create blazing explosive blasts that burn everything to cinders.
Typhlosion can only learn these moves in previous generations. A high ATK stat distribution results in low durability which prevents Typhlosion from enduring prolonged fights. User Info: Umuru Umuru 11 years ago 9 Entei wants to show you his true potential with physical fire moves, but unfortunately, the best move he gets is Fire Fang.
